Edit layered raster images and automate batch conversions with scripts.
PaintFE is a local raster image editor for drawing, retouching, and working with layered documents, RAW photos, GIFs, and APNG animations. Repetitive edits can be scripted in the built-in Rhai editor or run from the command line across batches of files. Releases are readily available for Windows and Linux; macOS builds are unsigned and require a manual first-launch approval.
