Pake turns a website into a macOS, Windows, or Linux desktop application through a command-line tool or a GitHub Actions build. Its Tauri-based packages support custom icons, window settings, shortcuts, styling, and selected page behavior while remaining much smaller than typical Electron bundles. Beginners can use ready-made packages or online builds, while local packaging requires a Rust and Node development environment.

appify generates a real macOS `.app` bundle around a terminal UI command, giving tools such as btop or weechat their own window, Dock icon, and Cmd+Tab entry. Generated apps embed their own GPU-accelerated Ghostty terminal engine, so users do not need an existing Ghostty installation. The tool is specifically for macOS rather than a cross-platform app packager.
