Transfer files between nearby devices without a shared network.
Flying Carpet sends files between Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows devices over ad hoc Wi-Fi, without a router, cellular connection, or preconfigured network share. It is useful for moving large files between different platforms when only nearby Wi-Fi-capable devices are available. Apple devices cannot use it for Apple-to-Apple transfers, and some transfer modes temporarily interrupt the existing wireless internet connection.
