Beekeeper Studio offers SQL editing with autocomplete and syntax highlighting, tabbed sessions, data filtering and sorting, saved queries, run history, import and export, backup and restore, and JSON views. It supports multiple database systems on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The Community Edition is GPL-licensed, while some databases and features are reserved for paid editions under commercial terms.

DBX provides a roughly 20 MB desktop client for connecting to and managing dozens of SQL and NoSQL databases, with Docker and web deployments available as well. It includes an AI assistant and an MCP server so coding agents can query databases through connections already configured in DBX, with safety checks before generated SQL runs. The desktop app works offline and does not collect telemetry; AI features need a reachable model endpoint or local Ollama.

DbGate provides one interface for working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and SQLite. Users can browse and edit data, change schemas, compare and synchronize structures, build visual queries, and run batch imports or exports. It is available as a Windows, macOS, or Linux desktop app and can also run as a web application through Docker or an NPM package.

TablePro is a native database client with built-in drivers for MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, and several related engines, plus installable plugins for databases such as MongoDB, SQL Server, and Oracle. It combines a SQL editor, editable data grid, SSH tunnels, query history, AI assistance using a chosen provider or Ollama, and an MCP server. Stable releases currently target macOS 14+ and iOS or iPadOS 18+, while Linux support remains in development.
