Give a local AI assistant adaptive memory that persists across conversations.
Roampal is a Windows desktop AI assistant that runs models through Ollama or LM Studio and preserves preferences, goals, documents, and learned patterns across chats. It scores outcomes so useful advice can be promoted while failed guidance is removed, and its memory tools can be shared with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP clients. After models are downloaded it can work offline, but the current setup is Windows-specific and instructs users to run the app as administrator.
