ai-renamer is a Node.js command-line tool that examines images, videos, and other files to create descriptive filenames. It works with Ollama by default and can also use LM Studio or OpenAI, with options for model choice, filename casing, output language, subdirectories, and custom instructions. It launches both the CLI and macOS Desktop app without reading or copying auth.json; its optional parallel Desktop instances remain experimental and do not provide full operating-system isolation.
