Project overview

Give Douyin Downloader an individual link or a creator profile to save videos, image posts, collections, music, and profile content in batches. It combines retries, progress reporting, SQLite plus local-file deduplication, and incremental downloads, and can fall back to a browser when post pagination is restricted. The tool runs from a configuration file or command line on Python 3.8+. Favorites require the logged-in account’s cookies, and browser fallback is currently validated mainly for creator posts.

rqbit handles BitTorrent downloads through a command line, Web UI, desktop wrapper, HTTP API, or embeddable Rust library. It supports magnet links, resuming existing files, selective downloads, pausing, rate limits, and streaming with seeking while a download is in progress. An integrated UPnP media server can expose managed torrents to televisions and other devices on the local network. Desktop releases are provided for macOS and Windows; the Linux desktop wrapper must be built manually.
