Project overview

Idaesbasic keeps project-management data as local files, allowing to-do lists, kanban boards, and calendars to live beside the code or assets they describe. A user adds a project folder, creates the relevant task files within it, and can then back up or version those files with the rest of the project. The currently implemented tools are to-do lists, kanban, and calendar; whiteboards, chat, and several other modules remain plans. Windows and Linux have documented ways to run it, while macOS users must compile the application themselves.

Run CelesteOps on macOS to track tasks, content dates, milestones, documents, comments, and sandboxed HTML prototypes in one local-first workspace. Its MCP shim exposes the app to Claude, Cursor, Codex, and other clients, while the public repository distributes the built app and connection kit rather than the app source.
