Transcribe local media and YouTube content through a desktop interface.
Faster Whisper XXL GUI transcribes local audio or video files and content downloaded from YouTube, then exports subtitles or text in formats such as SRT, VTT, JSON, and TXT. It also exposes language, VAD, audio, and model-management controls, including custom Hugging Face or local models. The portable Windows build downloads the engine and FFmpeg on first launch, and its automatic setup may occasionally require manual recovery.
