Open Google Gemini quickly through a keyboard-focused desktop client.
Gemini Desktop places Google Gemini in a dedicated app with multiple conversation tabs, a global-hotkey Quick Chat window, tray controls, always-on-top mode, and response notifications. Releases are available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with no application telemetry; authentication remains handled by Google. Development has been on hiatus since July 2026, so existing builds remain available but new fixes are not planned and issues or pull requests may go unanswered.
