obsidian-second-brain turns an Obsidian vault into a shared working memory for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Hermes, and Pi. Its commands can save conversations, ingest URLs or files, update related notes, synthesize themes, reconcile contradictions, and search the vault. Installation is platform-specific and requires pointing the agent to the vault; some research, calendar, and background workflows also depend on external services or capabilities that are not available in every supported runtime.

Claude LTM stores project decisions in `.memory/DECISIONS.md`, with separate detail files for complex choices. Claude Code is instructed to read this memory at session start, update it when significant decisions are made, and compact the session before finishing. The plugin provides init, save, and compact commands without external services or hooks.

session-continuity keeps a project's memory in two committed Markdown files: a current-state SESSION_PRIMER and an append-only LEARNINGS log. Slash commands refresh the primer, record hard-won lessons, and close a session, while hooks surface stale context or missing checks. The approach stays portable and human-readable instead of relying on a hosted memory service.

karpathy-llm-wiki turns incoming sources into durable, cross-linked Markdown pages instead of reprocessing raw documents for every question. Its ingest, query, and lint operations update the wiki, answer from existing pages with citations, and check link or index health. It follows the Agent Skills standard for use across several coding agents.
