Use a local-first speech-to-text app and reusable building blocks for synchronized workspaces.
Epicenter is a collection of local-first apps and developer tooling. Its most complete user-facing surface, Whispering, records speech, transcribes it, optionally transforms the text, and copies or pastes the result in a browser or the Epicenter desktop host; the desktop host also adds local GGUF transcription and system-wide shortcuts. Developers can reuse its Yjs workspace, sync, UI, and filesystem packages, but these components are pre-1.0 and presented as fork-and-own building blocks rather than a stability-guaranteed SDK.
