Install, switch, and pin Node.js versions through a GUI or CLI.
nvm-desktop manages multiple Node.js runtimes on macOS, Windows, and Linux through both a visual desktop app and the nvmd command-line tool. Users can browse available releases, install or remove versions, change the global default, and bind a specific Node.js version to each project so environments remain isolated. Common operations are available by clicking or from terminal workflows. The application keeps installed runtimes, command shims, project bindings, and settings together in a dedicated directory under the user’s home folder.
