skill-validator is a CLI for checking Agent Skill packages beyond basic specification compliance. It validates structure and frontmatter, detects broken or orphaned references, flags unnecessary files, reports token usage, and analyzes instruction density and cross-language contamination. Optional model-based evaluation can score dimensions such as clarity, actionability, and novelty. The tool can be installed through Homebrew or Go, used as a pre-commit check, integrated into CI, or imported as a Go library for custom validation workflows.

codex-oi lets a coding agent request an independent review without leaving the terminal. It can audit a file or project, challenge a plan, inspect the current diff before shipping, or review a landed commit, using Codex by default with Gemini available as a plugin engine. It adds project context, enforces filesystem boundaries, and formats findings, while keeping every result advisory and never applying changes automatically.

skill-check validates SKILL.md structure, frontmatter, description quality, body limits, and local references, then reports clear diagnostics and a quality score. It can apply deterministic safe fixes, scan local paths or GitHub repositories, and export JSON, SARIF, HTML, or GitHub annotations. Security scanning is enabled by default in the CLI and may install scanner dependencies unless automatic installs are explicitly disabled.

Slop-Mop adds an opinionated quality loop to repositories built with coding agents: run fast checks while working, a broader sweep before a pull request, and follow-up after CI or review feedback. Its gates target bogus tests, bypassed checks, coverage and typing gaps, complexity, duplication, security, and dependency risks, with temporary baselines for inherited debt.
