Transcribe and organize recordings locally without sending audio to a cloud service.
Scriberr is a self-hosted application for transcribing audio and video on your own machine. It can label speakers, preserve word-level timing, and let you summarize or question transcripts through Ollama or an OpenAI-compatible provider. Homebrew and Docker installations are available, including CPU and NVIDIA GPU options. Active development is currently paused, although the maintainer states that the project has not been abandoned.
