Inspect, repair, merge, and export encrypted Signal Android backups.
signalbackup-tools is a command-line utility for opening and transforming encrypted backups created by Signal for Android. With the backup passphrase, it can extract databases or media, export conversations to formats such as HTML, text, CSV, or XML, crop by conversation or date, merge files, repair some damaged backups, and import selected desktop or JSON data. Signal’s database format changes regularly, so features can temporarily break; keep an untouched copy before using experimental operations.
