Project overview

mlx-serve combines a native Zig inference server for Apple Silicon with the MLX Core menu-bar app. Users can download and manage MLX or GGUF models, chat from the terminal or desktop UI, use tool-calling and agent features, and connect existing clients through OpenAI-, Anthropic-, or Ollama-compatible APIs. It does not require Python or cloud inference, but it is specifically designed for Apple Silicon Macs and remains limited by the machine's available memory and compute.

Project overview

NadirClaw is a self-hosted OpenAI-compatible proxy that classifies each prompt and routes it to a configured simple, mid-tier, or complex model. It can add fallback chains, spending limits, and optional context compaction while remaining compatible with tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. The router runs locally and uses provider keys configured by the user. Its source-available core uses the PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license, so commercial use requires separate authorization.
