ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is an open-source desktop suite for Windows, Linux, and macOS that works with documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, PDF forms, and diagrams without an internet connection. It supports Office Open XML files and can connect to cloud services for collaboration, while also offering signatures, password protection, plugins, and AI assistants. The project is licensed under GNU AGPLv3.

Project overview

Chatd is a desktop application for asking questions about local documents with a Mistral-7B model. Document data stays on the computer, and the app bundles the local model runner so users do not need to assemble a separate stack. If Ollama is already running, Chatd reuses it; otherwise it starts and manages its own Ollama service. Users can simply download and run the executable, then optionally enable GPU support or choose another model.
