Project overview

dbt Agent Skills lets compatible assistants automatically load guidance when a natural-language request matches a dbt workflow. The collection covers model development and tests, MetricFlow semantic layers, dbt Mesh governance, job troubleshooting, command usage, and MCP configuration, with separate skills for one-off migrations to Fusion or across data platforms. Most workflows assume dbt is installed and configured and that the user is working in a project containing `dbt_project.yml`.

Project overview

This collection gives Claude 31 reusable workflows for analytics work, from validating data and SQL to diagnosing metric changes and communicating results. After a user describes the task, Claude selects an appropriate workflow, asks for the minimum context, states assumptions, and returns a consistent output; when inputs are incomplete, it proceeds with those gaps made explicit.
