Open crossoverDesktop appPersonal and daily lifeLinux
crossover↗
@lacymorrow·JavaScript
Place a customizable crosshair overlay over games on any display.
Project overviewCrossOver adds a transparent, movable crosshair above games on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Choose from its built-in reticles or drop in a custom PNG, SVG, or GIF, then adjust position, size, color, opacity, and multi-monitor placement. It can also pin several markers at once. Compatibility is not universal: most games need windowed or borderless-fullscreen mode, Vulkan titles may not render the overlay, and a few games reject or flag crosshair-overlay software.

Open RocketSimAppDesktop appTesting and debuggingmacOS
RocketSimApp↗
@AvdLee·Swift
Debug, test, capture, and automate workflows in Xcode’s iOS Simulator.
Project overviewRocketSim extends Xcode’s iOS Simulator with tools for inspecting behavior, debugging interfaces and network activity, checking accessibility, and producing screenshots or recordings. Developers can trigger app actions and repeat test flows from the desktop app, while the RocketSim CLI and companion agent skill enable state-aware automation that inspects the visible UI before tapping, typing, or swiping. It is built specifically for iOS developers working with the Simulator rather than for general device automation.

Open kanriDesktop appProject and product management
kanri↗
@kanriapp·Vue
Manage Kanban tasks offline with all board data stored in a local file.
Project overviewKanri is a desktop Kanban app for Windows, macOS, and Linux that works without an account or internet connection. It supports customizable columns and cards, rich descriptions, subtasks, due dates, tags, Trello import, and granular or full exports for backup. Board data is stored in a single local JSON file, and built-in cloud synchronization is intentionally excluded, making it suitable for users who want to keep control of their own data.

Open appifyCLI appSoftware developmentmacOS
appify↗
@mattrobenolt·Zig
Turn terminal UI commands into standalone native macOS applications.
Project overviewappify generates a real macOS `.app` bundle around a terminal UI command, giving tools such as btop or weechat their own window, Dock icon, and Cmd+Tab entry. Run it with the target command and optionally set the application name, icon, bundle identifier, working directory, window size, or bundled Ghostty configuration. Generated apps embed their own GPU-accelerated Ghostty terminal engine, so users do not need an existing Ghostty installation. The tool is specifically for macOS rather than a cross-platform app packager.

Open apple-notes-exporterDesktop appDocument productivity
apple-notes-exporter↗
@kzaremski·Swift
Bulk-export Apple Notes while preserving folders, formatting, and attachments.
Project overviewApple Notes Exporter moves an entire iCloud or On My Mac notes library into formats such as Markdown, PDF, DOCX, JSONL, or ENEX while retaining folder hierarchy, rich content, and attachments. Exports can be run from the macOS interface, a scriptable command-line tool, Apple Shortcuts, or the bundled MCP server, and incremental mode rewrites only new or modified notes. The app requires macOS 11 or later and Full Disk Access. Notes stored in Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or other email accounts must first be moved into iCloud or On My Mac.

Open woraDesktop appMedia, audio and video
wora↗
@playwora·TypeScript
Organize and play FLAC, WAV, and other local music in a desktop library.
Project overviewWora is a cross-platform desktop player for organizing and listening to a local music collection. Open ClaudeMeterDesktop appProductivity and officemacOS
ClaudeMeter↗
@eddmann·Swift
Track Claude plan usage, pacing, and reset times from the macOS menu bar.
Project overviewClaudeMeter shows five-hour session usage, seven-day usage, and Sonnet-specific limits in the macOS menu bar, with color-coded icons, pacing warnings, configurable threshold notifications, and automatic refresh. It can import a Claude session from local browser cookies or accept a session key manually, stores that credential in Keychain, and exports usage percentages as JSON for status-line scripts or dashboards. This is an unofficial client that accesses Claude’s web API through browser authentication; the project warns that this may violate Anthropic’s terms and could affect the account.

Open skillsCollection or directoryAI and agent developmentClaude Code
skills↗
@veniceai·Python
Give agents task-specific guidance for working with the Venice API.
Project overviewVenice Skills packages the Venice API into separate, on-demand Agent Skills for authentication, chat, Responses, embeddings, image generation, image editing, and other surface areas. Each folder contains a `SKILL.md` that an agent runtime can load when the corresponding endpoint is needed, and the catalog is maintained alongside the API specification. You can install the full `skills` directory or only selected folders into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Hermes, and compatible hosts. This is instruction material for agents, not a standalone Venice client.

Open agrCLI appAI and agent developmentClaude Code
agr↗
@computerlovetech·Python
Install, pin, and sync shared agent skills across a team’s AI tools.
Project overviewagr treats agent skills like project dependencies for teams. It installs skills from Git repositories or local directories into detected AI tools, records the desired set in `agr.toml`, and pins exact versions in `agr.lock` so teammates can reproduce the same environment with one sync command. Users can also upgrade skills deliberately or run one temporarily with `agrx` without adding it to the project configuration.

Open pennywiseDesktop appProductivity and officeLinux
pennywise↗
@nilbuild·JavaScript
Keep any website or video floating above your other apps.
Project overviewPennywise opens web pages and media in a small always-on-top window that can be resized, repositioned, and made partially transparent. A detached mode lets pointer interactions pass through to the window underneath, which is useful for tutorials, dashboards, reference pages, or videos while working. Builds are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, but the project is no longer maintained, so users should verify compatibility with current operating systems and websites before relying on it.
