Quota Float is a lightweight always-on-top widget for Windows and macOS that reads an existing local Codex Desktop login and queries the five-hour quota, weekly quota, next reset time, and reset-credit details when available. It collapses into a small orb when idle and shows explicit stale, signed-out, loading, or unavailable states rather than inventing values. The app stores only widget preferences, not tokens, account IDs, prompts, chat history, or raw responses. Real quota access requires Codex Desktop to be signed in on the same machine, and current builds are unsigned.

Hermes Agent CN Desktop adds a native desktop shell around the Chinese community edition of Hermes Agent. It provides chat, attachments, Skills, Memory, scheduled tasks, model-provider setup, and runtime diagnostics, while bundled releases can initialize and manage an isolated Hermes-CN-Core installation. Users configure either a cloud API key or a local model endpoint; the main agent runtime and Dashboard remain in the separate core repository.

Ian Handdrawn PPT helps Codex turn articles, course notes, outlines, or talks into a visual sequence before generating the pages. It produces a 21:9 cover, 16:9 hand-drawn Chinese explanation images, and a contact sheet for reviewing consistency. The workflow is suited to article illustrations, lessons, and knowledge cards, but its deliverables are PNG page images rather than editable PPTX, PDF, vector, or interactive files.

skills-manage is a local-first desktop app that keeps a central skill library and installs selected skills into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and many other platforms through symlinks. Users can inspect skill contents, discover project-level libraries, import from GitHub, browse marketplaces, organize collections, and batch-install them. Current prebuilt packages are limited to Apple Silicon macOS and are not notarized; other platforms must run from source. GitHub PATs and AI API keys are stored in the local SQLite database without encryption at rest.

Homepage is a customizable start page for homelabs and self-hosted services. It combines application links, bookmarks, search, weather, system information, Docker container status, and service-specific widgets in one dashboard, configured through YAML or automatic Docker label discovery. Backend API requests are proxied to keep credentials away from the browser. When the dashboard is reachable from an untrusted network, it must be protected by an authenticated TLS reverse proxy or VPN with strict host validation.

Firelink is a cross-platform desktop download manager for segmented transfers, media extraction, persistent queues, scheduling, speed rules, and organized file placement. Its companion extension can hand browser downloads, links, selected text, or detected media to the desktop app for review, and release bundles include the required engines. Builds are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, but the current macOS package is not notarized and Windows packages are unsigned, so first launch may trigger security warnings.

davidondrej-skills is a categorized library of reusable workflows for AI coding, research, and general workflow agents. Each skill lives in its own folder with a SKILL.md entry point that explains when and how it should be used. The collection covers areas such as codebase improvement, idea research, content preparation, presentation review, transcript work, skill authoring, and agent orchestration.

OpenList Desktop provides a cross-platform graphical interface for controlling OpenList and Rclone. Users can start, stop, or restart services, mount WebDAV-backed cloud storage into the local file system, edit configuration, inspect logs, and monitor runtime status from the app or system tray. It is intended for people who prefer not to manage OpenList entirely through the command line. The project is still in its early 0.x stage, so features may be unstable and major changes can occur.

ORG-2 is an open-source desktop agent IDE built around reviewability, traceability, and control rather than code generation speed alone. It combines replayable long-running sessions, cross-session memory, shared workspace state, and GUI, terminal, Git, browser, LSP, timeline, and database tools while reusing existing API keys, subscriptions, and multiple agent CLIs. Desktop builds are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux; Computer Use is currently macOS-only, and some organization-level collaboration features remain works in progress.

Skills Hub is a cross-platform desktop app that stores Agent Skills in one central library, then syncs them to selected coding tools at global or project scope. Users can install from curated sources, local folders, or Git repositories, add tags, update targets in bulk, schedule updates, and import existing skill directories. Synchronization prefers symlinks or junctions and falls back to copying when required. Built-in adapters cover many tools, but project-level skill directories are not confirmed for every target, so some integrations support global sync only.

This Windows desktop app starts a local file-sharing service and shows user and administrator URLs with QR codes, so phones, tablets, and computers on the same Wi-Fi or LAN can upload, download, and bundle files through a browser. Guest, user, and administrator roles, visibility groups, and audit logs help control access. Uploads are stored as original binary data, with modification times preserved when possible. Because the service is exposed to the reachable network, it should be used only on trusted LANs, and the default administrator password should be changed after first launch.

mlx-serve combines a native Zig inference server for Apple Silicon with the MLX Core menu-bar app. Users can download and manage MLX or GGUF models, chat from the terminal or desktop UI, use tool-calling and agent features, and connect existing clients through OpenAI-, Anthropic-, or Ollama-compatible APIs. It does not require Python or cloud inference, but it is specifically designed for Apple Silicon Macs and remains limited by the machine's available memory and compute.

ZenNotes keeps every note as an ordinary Markdown file while offering both a desktop app and a self-hosted web mode. Its keyboard-first workflow combines Vim motions, split editing and preview, search, tags, tasks, daily notes, diagrams, and local assets in one vault. A companion CLI, Raycast integration on macOS, and an MCP server let scripts and compatible AI tools work with the same files. Desktop builds are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

guard-skills supplies focused second-pass reviews for production code, tests, documentation, WordPress, and WooCommerce work. Run the relevant guard after an agent changes a repository to catch patterns such as needless abstraction, ineffective tests, documentation drift, or platform-specific mistakes before commit or merge. The package is primarily Markdown and includes no executable scripts, network calls, or credential requirements.

simple-modern-uv is a compact template for Python 3.11–3.14 projects, paired with an Agent Skill that can create a new package, modernize an existing repository, or apply later template updates. It sets up uv, Ruff, BasedPyright, and GitHub Actions, and can migrate projects from Poetry, setuptools or pip, and PDM while tailoring license and PyPI publishing files.

MeTube turns yt-dlp into a self-hosted browser interface for downloading videos, audio, captions, thumbnails, playlists, and channel content. It can also watch subscribed channels or playlists and automatically queue newly discovered items. The project is commonly deployed with Docker and suits users who want centralized control over storage paths, naming rules, queues, and yt-dlp options.

claude-devtools reads the Claude Code logs and transcripts already stored under `~/.claude/` and reconstructs file reads, searches, edits, tool inputs and outputs, subagent execution trees, and per-turn token attribution. It helps you investigate what an agent actually did and why context usage grew without rerunning the original task.

poi is a desktop browser and toolkit for Kantai Collection that combines game access, caching, data synthesis and analysis, notifications, and a plugin system in one application. It supports HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies plus experimental PAC support, while plugins extend the available tools. Official releases are provided through GitHub, some platform packages are community-maintained, and nightly artifacts may be periodically removed.
