dyu/bookmarks is a small self-hosted bookmarking application for keeping a personal collection under your own control. It can import bookmarks from Delicious or Chrome and includes a bookmarklet for saving pages from the browser. A standalone Linux package is provided for quick startup, but the runtime is dated: the server depends on JDK 7, and the optional desktop mode also uses NW.js.

Vaani is a client for an existing Audiobookshelf server, giving Android and Linux users a dedicated library and audiobook player. Playback controls include speed adjustment, a sleep timer, shake gestures, offline listening, and caching, with extensive appearance and behavior settings built around Material Design. It is useful only for people who already run or can access Audiobookshelf, and the repository explicitly states that the application is still under development and not ready for production use.

Codex App Manager is a cross-platform desktop client for installing, updating, launching, and cleanly uninstalling the official Codex desktop app. It detects the local state before planning an action, uses signed delta updates with rollback on macOS, and handles MSIX or portable installations on Windows. Its own updater and Codex payload downloads can use mirrors reachable from mainland China. The macOS build is Developer ID signed and notarized, while the Windows installer currently lacks an Authenticode code signature.

Copy URL registers itself as a macOS browser, but selecting it copies the incoming address to the clipboard and immediately quits instead of loading the page. This is especially useful with browser picker apps such as Velja, where it appears alongside installed browsers and turns one selection into a copied link. The app requires macOS 13 or later and is installed by downloading the release, unzipping it, and moving it into the Applications folder.

Social Space places several websites or web applications side by side in one Windows window, then lets users save, update, and delete those arrangements as reusable workspaces. It is useful for repeatedly opening the same collection of social networks, dashboards, or online tools. Two browser-engine builds are offered: the Chromium version is lighter but may fail to play video on some sites, while the recommended Edge WebView2 version has broader compatibility but requires the Edge runtime and uses more resources. A matching .NET 6 runtime may also be required.

DuckCoding is a cross-platform desktop manager for detecting, installing, updating, and configuring Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI. It can track tool instances on the local machine, WSL, or SSH hosts, while isolated profiles replace only API keys and base URLs so native preferences remain intact. Separate local proxies, session history, provider management, and balance monitoring support multi-account workflows. The app runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, but WSL GUI use is not supported.

Mapset Verifier is a desktop tool for osu! mappers who want to review a beatmapset with a consistent set of checks. It ships current builds for Windows, Linux, and macOS and can extend its built-in checks with custom DLL plugins. Waifu2x Video is an open-source macOS desktop app dedicated to video super-resolution. Download the compiled release, move the app into Applications, and use its graphical interface to upscale video without setting up a command-line workflow. It handles video rather than still images and requires macOS 10.15 or later.

MeshStation is a desktop Meshtastic observatory that passively receives and decodes live radio traffic through an RTL-SDR-compatible device. It maps nodes, displays messages and raw packets, builds a node database, and helps evaluate coverage, density, reachability, and network quality without requiring a Meshtastic node. The current application is focused on reception and analysis; transmission and active network interaction are planned rather than available today.

Moonshine-Image is a local Windows desktop tool for removing objects, text, and watermarks from images and video. Users can draw masks for Lama or MAT inpainting, use SLBR for visible semi-transparent watermarks, process folders in batches, and edit video masks on a timeline with resumable segments and FFmpeg fallback export. Releases are split into CPU and CUDA packages with bundled or external models; CPU processing is much slower, while MAT requires CUDA and its weights are licensed for non-commercial use only.
